On Monday 11 October 2021, the government advised that all staff and workers who may have contact with children and students in schools and kura throughout the country (regardless of COVID-19 Alert Level) will be required to have their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by 15 November 2021 and be fully vaccinated by 1 January 2022.
Employers of education workers to whom this mandate applies are responsible for ensuring their workers meet the vaccination requirements. Under the Privacy Act 2020 the vaccination status of any individual is personal information and will not be shared with others without their permission.
Aiscorp is operating within current Ministry of Health guidelines at Orange in the Traffic Light System and is committed to ensure that any Aiscorp personnel that come onsite to a school environment in which this mandate applies will meet the Ministry’s vaccination requirements i.e. they will have had their first dose by 15 November, and be fully vaccinated by 1 January 2022.
